Taking learning out of the classroom is a priority for the government.
So that teachers from a wide range of disciplines can be introduced to the educational opportunities that exist within India, ExpIndia has organised a tour exclusively for teachers to enjoy.
Teachers Study Tour dates are 23rd - 31st October 2009.
The 9 day itinerary includes time in Rajasthan and Delhi. In Rajasthan the teachers will be able to experience a camel safari and undertake sand dune transects, visit the rat temple in Bikaner whilst also gaining first hand insights into wind turbine projects and agricultural development. In Delhi and Gurgaon the teachers are visiting housing projects, manufacturing plants whilst also assessing the impact of the Commonwealth Games in the context of infrastructural development.
Places are still available for teachers to join the programme. To find out more either visit the Study Tours Section or contact Tim Phillis directly on tim.phillis@expindia.co.uk.
Importantly, the cost of £1100 will be refunded should a member of the tour book an itinerary for more than 10 students within 3 years.
